Howdy, y’all!

Welcome! Pastored by Terry O’Toole, Chisholm Trail Cowboy Church started in October 2003 with a handful of folks, and we now average around 200 people per week! God has been very good to us and our gatherings have been an enormous blessing in so many lives.

We’d love for you to join us. It’s nothing fancy ~ our motto is “cowboy and cowgirl up and come as you are !” We promise you will have a good time as we share the word of God, enjoy great singers and hear an occasional piece of cowboy poetry.

We do things a little different for sure… We have a bucket hanging at the entrance rather than passing an offering plate.  We use most of the money we raise to help folks in need rather than paying a mortgage.  We have baptisms in a stock tank or a pond rather than a fancy baptistry.  We wait until YOU want to hear about giving your life to Christ rather than pushing you into something before you’re ready.

Oh ~ and another big difference between the Chisholm Trail Cowboy Church and most other places of worship is that our services are held in a building that is home to a livestock auction during weekdays.

If you haven’t yet found the kind of church that fits you or if you enjoy good gospel music or if you just want to find out what the cowboy church is all about, come see us some Thursday night!  We promise you’ll have a real good time!

A little about Pastor Terry and his wife Rosie

In June 2006, Terry who is an ordained Baptist Minister retired from the Sherman, Texas Police Department where he had served for 26 years.  Terry & Rosie then began serving full-time in the ministry as Evangelists out of the Central Baptist Church of Whitesboro, Texas, with Terry doing the preaching and Rosie doing the singing.

In preparing Rosie to serve, the Lord gifted her with a beautiful voice, a humble spirit, and the ability to minister to people of all ages thru song.  Rosie has the unique ability to adapt to any audience and feels comfortable ministering in song to Large or small audiences.  If she can be used to touch even one life for Jesus Christ then she is blessed.

Pastor Dan O’Daniel invited Rosie to sing at Cowboy Church in December 2006 and she has returned 2 to 3 times a year ever since.  Hearing Rosie sing is truly one of the great joys of life.  Her song selection mixed with her touching testimonies between the songs comes straight from her heart and is always a blessing.

After Pastor Dan retired Terry & Rosie continued to come to Cowboy Church for Rosie to sing.  It was during this time that the Lord started dealing with Terry about becoming a pastor of Cowboy Church.  At the request of the Elders, Terry took the reins of the Cowboy Church in September of 2014.

Having Thursday evening services at Cowboy Church leaves Pastor Terry & Rosie a lot of weekend open to continue the preaching and singing ministry they have been involved in for several years as well as ministering to the folks at Cowboy Church.  They want everyone to know that if there is any way they can help you, give them a call.

“Ain’t God Good.”

Where We Meet

Chisholm Trail Cowboy Church meets every Thursday night at 7:00 PM at the Northwest Stockyards on Highway 412 just five miles or so west of Enid, Oklahoma.  The Mason family has been a great help to the Chisholm Trail Cowboy Church. They have never charged us for the use of their facility and have been helpful in every possible way. We sure appreciate their kindness!

Y’all cowboy and cowgirl up and come as you are on Thursday night!
